1. Who We Are

RemoteTalent Partner Network ("RemoteTalent", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website remoteparttimehub.com ("Site"). We operate an independent 1099 contractor matching platform connecting qualified US residents with our network of vendor partners.

For the purposes of applicable US state privacy laws (CCPA, CPA, VCDPA, CTDPA, UCPA), RemoteTalent is the "business" or "controller" of the personal information you provide.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our Site.

2.1 Information You Provide To Apply Or Inquire

• Contact details: your first and last name, phone number, SMS number, email address, and preferred contact method.
• Application and screening information: age or date of birth, state of residence, US work authorization status, availability schedule, and any other information you include in messages or email correspondence.
• Onboarding documents: IRS Form W-9 (including full legal name, address, and Taxpayer Identification Number or SSN), signed partner agreement, and payment-related information (ACH routing number, PayPal email, or Wise account details) necessary to issue compensation.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Log data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, approximate geographic location (country, region, city), browser type and version, device type (iOS, Android, desktop), operating system, referring website URLs, and timestamps of visits.
• Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, links and contact buttons clicked (including SMS and email actions), and application funnel progression.
• Device identifiers: non-precise device and browser fingerprints used solely for fraud detection, abuse prevention, and campaign performance analysis in aggregated or pseudonymized form.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We do not purchase personal information from data brokers. We may receive limited information from messaging providers (SMS delivery status) or payment processors (transaction confirmations) solely to confirm that messages were delivered and payments were processed.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information only for specific, legitimate business purposes described below:

• To respond to inquiries, messages, and applications submitted via SMS, email, or contact forms.
• To screen, evaluate, and onboard eligible applicants into our 1099 partner program, including identity verification, W-9 processing, and age verification.
• To coordinate tasks, deliver training materials, and provide ongoing support to active partners.
• To process compensation payments via your selected payment method and generate tax reporting forms (1099-NEC) as required by the Internal Revenue Code.
• To operate, maintain, and improve our Site, including performance analysis, A/B testing, load balancing, and error debugging.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, spam, or unlawful conduct on our platform.
• To comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and legal process (including subpoenas and court orders).
• With your consent, to send you occasional program updates via email or SMS. You can opt out at any time.

4. Cookies & Analytics

4.1 Cookies

We use cookies (small text files stored on your device) and similar technologies to:

• Remember your privacy preferences during a session.
• Maintain anonymous session state during your visit.
• Protect the security and integrity of the Site (fraud prevention, CSRF tokens, rate limiting).

We do not use third-party tracking cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising on this Site.

5.1 Service Providers

• Payment processors (ACH, PayPal, Wise, Zelle providers) to send compensation payments.
• Cloud and hosting providers to operate and secure our Site infrastructure.
• Email and communication services to send application responses, onboarding materials, and program updates.
• Tax processors for electronic W-9 signing and 1099-NEC filing with the IRS.

5.2 Vendor Partners (Only If Admitted)

If you are admitted as an active partner, we may share your first name, contact details, and task assignments with the specific vendor partner whose tasks you are performing. We require all vendor partners to protect your information under written contract.

5.3 Legal Compulsion

We may disclose information to government authorities, law enforcement, or courts when we believe disclosure is required by applicable law, subpoena, or legal process, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, and users.

5.4 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing due diligence, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction under conditions of confidentiality.

6. Data Retention

• Applicant inquiries (messages and email): 12 months from last contact.
• Active partner records (application + W-9 + payment history): retained during the partner relationship plus 5 years after the last calendar year of payments, as required by IRS record retention rules for 1099-NEC filers.
• Server logs and analytics: 13 months, after which they are aggregated or deleted.
• Click tracking data (button clicks, IPs): 13 months, then aggregated.

7. Your Rights (US State Privacy Laws)

Depending on your state of residence (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Montana, etc.), you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including:

• Right to Know / Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Delete: request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention obligations (such as IRS tax records).
• Right to Opt-Out of "Sale": we do not sell personal information. To the extent any of our practices (sharing with service providers, advertising analytics) are considered a "sale" or "sharing for targeted advertising" under state law, you may opt out by contacting us.
• Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the above rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may verify your identity before disclosing, correcting, or deleting personal information.

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our Site and services are directed to adults 25 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 or from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete that information immediately. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us.

9. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of personal information. These safeguards include industry-standard TLS (HTTPS) encryption for all data in transit, access controls, database security, and limited employee access on a need-to-know basis. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Visitors

This Site is operated in the United States and is intended solely for use by persons located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
